These are places with regulars who can be your drinking buddy for the day so you don’t feel so bad about yourself.

(Speaking of regulars, here’s a pro tip: buying a regular a drink, especially if the bartender has to give them a chip, goes a looong way…)

Here’s my list…

• Great Lakes Distillery. Opens at 12 on weekdays and 11 on weekends. Fox Den food legit. Just sayin.

• Swingin’ Door. Opens at 11a Tues-Sat. Lord help us.

• Steny’s. Not only does this place open early (11a) every day, but they stay open late.

• Explorium: Opens 11:30 with amazing food to balance the buzz.

• Y Not II. Opens 6a! Breakfast drinking!!

• Zad’s. Did someone say 6a? Here, too.

• Corner Club. They wait until 7a to open. Set your alarm.

• 4th Base. Wed - Fri 10:30a.

• Valley Inn. 11a. Get some breakfast. Play a game.
